Hear about the new tech being utilised in housing sector

Listen to NHG’s CIO, Rajiv Peter, talk about the use of proprietary tech, serving residents, and building collaboration throughout the sector

If you look back over the past decade, a number of transformative moments are dotted along the world’s collective timeline. From rapid technological innovation and the rise of social media to the widespread digitisation of industries, life in the 2020s is markedly different to just ten years earlier.

Lucky, then, that as a devastating cost-of-living crisis looms, there are some good eggs looking out for those most in need: Notting Hill Genesis (NHG). One of the largest housing associations in London and the south east, it provides housing “right across the spectrum” of need, with NHG’s core mission being to provide “quality, affordable housing to low-income and vulnerable communities”.

Here, the housing group’s Chief Information Officer, Rajiv Peter, talks us through the transformation process that NHG has undergone over the past five years, which includes the development of proprietary tech, building customer centrality and seeking to collaborate with other housing associations.
